Assisted the Chairman in keeping agreements current with other airlines by working with other union leadership for results
Worked with other airline unions resolving Jumpseat issues between airlines, pilots, agents, etc.
Upheld the section of the collective bargaining agreement that addressed Jumpseat

Communications Committee

Structured a plan of attack on how the MEC could communicate to the pilot group from through one central channel, delivering an effective, consistent, and reliable message to the membership
Oversaw all communications put out to the pilot group, working closely with the MEC, my counterpart at ALPA National and the association attorneys
Compiled weekly updates of committee chair tasks/information into a weekly spreadsheet to update other chairs on union business
Worked with committee chairs and LEC reps in developing legal and accurate communications to be sent to the pilot group
Worked with ALPA attorney's and paralegals to edit all emails sent to membership to conform with ALPA standards
Attended all ALPA National Board meetings with the MEC to ensure timely and accurate information was sent back to the membership

Pilot-to-Pilot (P2P) Committee

Delivered a clear, concise, unified message while squashing rumors and returning pilot feedback to union leadership
Grew the pilot-to-pilot (P2P) program to 10 % of the pilot group
Wrote and implemented a P2P Training Class used to train all P2P Volunteers
Helped develop and subsequently implement base pub events around the system
Developed P2P "Just the Facts", distributed to P2P Volunteers to aid them with talking points
Managed records associated with the P2P Volunteer List, P2P Domicile Leaders, and P2P Training
Worked with ALPA Legal and Compass MEC to create P2P content, website, SharePoint, and more
Attended weekly Communication Strategy telephone meetings
Coordinated with and worked with other ALPA Committees including; Strike Preparation/Strategic Planning Committee (SPSC), Family Awareness, Contract Compliance

Planned for picketing events in bases around the system and support in the event a strike occured
Put together a strategic plan with a team of individuals from committees across the union to carry out during negotiations with management
Put together a strategic plan that guided the union's direction after contract negotiations concluded
Collaborated with other key union members (ie. negotiators, family awareness, MEC/LEC) to improve pilot lives through a better contact
Set a direction for the union in making a 5 year plan
